CHARIS
CHARIS, based in Taunton, has opened several Welcome Hubs across Somerset. These Hubs will create a safe space where displaced people can come to meet with one another and learn English, obtain counselling, discuss employment problems, and health problems and sort out educational assistance for children. Supporting these Hubs will be one of our early priorities in terms of grants. We are actively involved with the first one in Taunton is already open and will soon be followed by others in Yeovil, Frome and Watchet.
