INDEPENDENCE DAY of UKRAINE
Ukraine's Independence Day is a public holiday celebrated annually on 24 August in honour of the adoption of the Act of Independence of Ukraine (1991) and its secession from the USSR, which is generally considered the date of the restoration of the independent state of Ukraine.
